Cambridge United have today signed Keiran Murtagh.
The 22-year-old former Wycombe Wanderers midfielder has agreed a two-year deal after turning down other interested clubs.
The former Yeovil midfielder was on loan at Woking last season, showing good form grabbing the attention of many scouts. In thirteen appearances the midfielder scored five goals. In his time at Yeovil, Murtagh amassed fifty appearances scoring three goals. He moved to Wycombe in 2010 before joining Woking on loan.

Murtagh said today "For me I am very exited. To be joining a big club like Cambridge United is great. Its a big club with a big fan base and are getting together a young team who will grow together.
Manager Jez George told the club's official website cambridgeunited.com "Keiran is hugely talented with an ability to create and score goals. He played a number of games in League One at an early age but things didn't work out for him at Wycombe so we have been able to bring him to the Club. He came to our attention last season whilst on loan at Woking where he had a massive impact and we are now giving him the opportunity to develop his game and realise his potential. Keiran will give us something different in the squad and will have a big part to play next season."
