JEZ IN CHARGE FOR THE SEASON

 

 

Cambridge United have installed Director of Football Jez George as manager till the end of the season. George doubles up as the manager of CRC the "reserve team".

The move is seen as one of stability. With the club having to practice restrain with regards to finance's George's appointment is seen as a logical one. With the sale of Robbie Willmott and the release of Wayne Gray United will be increasinly using many of the youngsters from the CRC team.

The likes of Marriott, Ives, Hughes, Thorpe and Berry will be making up most of the bench and with George at the helm it will ensure that the youngsters will be used in the best way.
