Cambridge United have announced that young midfielder Luke Berry has signed a new three year contract at the R Costing's Abbey Stadium.
Berry has been a regular in the Cambridge United first team since CRC boss and caretaker manager Jez George took over first team duties after the sacking of Martin Ling.
Berry has progressed so much that he is now considered an important member of the first team.
Sadly for Berry and United he will be out for the rest of the season due to a complicated ankle injury sustained in Saturday's match against York City. Luckily he does not require an operation.
Berry has played eleven times this season.
