BENTLEY JOINS ON LOAN

Cambridge have bolstered their squad by taking Gillingham midfielder Mark Bentley on a month's loan.

Bentley takes the U's loan pool to four. The Gills midfielder is a big presence in the midfield and can also play as a centre half. Jez George said " It is great we can have an experienced and strong midfielder come to the club".

The loanee has found it hard to get back into Gillingham team since his return from injury. Jez George will put him straight into the squad for Saturday's match at Southport.
